 Ebony Sowell Franklin is a passionate musician and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience teaching singers, professional recording artists, Broadway performers, and more. As the proud founder of My Best Music, which she has operated for the past four years, she has made a significant impact in the Atlanta metro area by providing services to 10 community centers and schools. Ebony believes in the transformative power of music to connect people and uplift spirits. Through her ventures, My Best Music and My Best Voice, she combines her artistic vision with business acumen to create exceptional music projects that resonate with audiences. Her commitment to nurturing emerging artists and promoting diverse voices has established her as a respected figure in the music community. Through her work, Ebony aims to inspire others to embrace their creative journeys and express themselves authentically.

DuBois, a passionate vocalist and artist hailing from Atlanta, GA, brings a wealth of knowledge to My Best Voice Music Academy. A graduate of Florida A&M University, his expertise in music is fueled by a deep love for the art. As a new teacher, DuBois is thrilled to nurture and guide aspiring male voices, fostering a foundation for their musical journey. With dedication and a commitment to excellence, he looks forward to creating harmonious experiences for beginners at the academy.

Born in Douglasville, GA and raised in Atlanta, Maxwell Estis transcends the boundaries of music and art set by genre. As a pianist he is well versed in classical, jazz, and contemporary styles. As an arranger/composer he calls upon influence from various mentors working in film, commercial, and mainstream music as well as his Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee.

Jose Almonte, born in Brooklyn in 1997, grew up in Powder Springs, Georgia, where he began studying percussion at 12. A standout musician, he earned honors in all-state bands and the Governor’s Honors Program. He attended Columbus State University on the Bo Bartlett scholarship, earning a BA in percussion performance. Jose has performed with prestigious ensembles and studied under top percussionists. Now based in Atlanta, he directs percussion at St. Pius X Catholic High School and performs professionally. Also

Aliyonah Morgan is a talented and experienced musical theater professional, as our new instructor. She has received awards for her script writing work for the North Carolina Theatre Conference. She has also directed and written multiple short films and short plays such as one by the name of Sleeping Dapper she directed, wrote as well as acted in. Aside from her film and stage work as a director. She has a passion for the fine arts especially dance which she has been doing since the age of six years old and singing since age two.

Lyneeca Lindsey is a passionate music teacher and choir director with over 20 years of experience leading choirs across Georgia, Alabama, Kansas, and Wisconsin. She loves helping both adults and children refine their voices. Beyond music, she is an experienced educator and founder of Lindsey Educational Services, providing tutoring in various subjects and test prep for GED, SAT, and ACT. She holds a CDA from Spelman, an AS and BS in Education, and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from the University of West Georgia. A certified teacher since 2010, Lyneeca is dedicated to lifelong learning and teaching.

Jessica is a dedicated and experienced music educator passionate about inspiring students through engaging and innovative teaching methods. With expertise in music theory, brass, piano, audio production, and group performance, she has worked with K-12 students to develop their musical talents while fostering creativity and confidence. Her approach emphasizes individualized learning and hands-on instruction, helping each student reach their full potential. Holding a master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology, Jessica integrates a deep understanding of developmental needs into her teaching, creating a supportive and enriching environment where students thrive both musically and personally.

Drew Elzie is a native from Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in music composition. He has written music for short films and motivational speaker Eric Thomas. Drew Elzie is currently an elementary teacher in the public school systems and has taught for 8 years. In his teaching career he has received teacher of the month award and teacher of the year award. In many of his lessons he incorporates impactful and engaging piano lessons for students of any age at any level. These piano lessons are catered for every student to fit their learning style in order for every student to succeed. At his current school he runs a 50 member elementary chorus program along with a 20 member elementary percussion.
